Inspira and Rowan partner for inaugural health hack event


Inspira Health Network and Rowan University have partnered to host a two-day Health Hack where physicians, professors, medical residents, researchers, and leaders from both organizations will form small teams to develop innovative solutions to long-standing health care challenges.

More than 60 participants are registered for the event, which will be held on Friday, June 22, and Saturday, June 23, at the South Jersey Technology Park at Rowan University, Rooms 246-247, 107 Gilbreth Parkway, Mullica Hill.                       

Three winning teams will be awarded $20,000 initial funding and resources to fully develop their solutions. The four main areas of focus are Health Management, Health Logistics, Health Process, and Health Technology.

Judges are

  • Jeff Fisher, chief product officer at Intraprise Health
  • Heather Simmons, Gloucester County freeholder and director of university business outreach at Rowan University
  • Frank Jacobucci, president and CEO at Speranza Biotechnology
