Rowan University Board of Trustees Appointments for 2016-17

The Rowan University Board of Trustees at its monthly meeting September 14 approved the following appointments:

 

Rowan University Foundation Board of Directors

Jack Tarditi, managing director of Connor Strong & Buckelew Co. in Marlton, was appointed to a three-year term on the Rowan University Foundation Board. Heavily involved in the community, Tarditi serves on the Cooper Foundation Board, as Secretary of the Salvation Army – Camden County Chapter, as a member of the Symphony in “C” Society Board of Directors and as chair of the South Jersey Community Foundation. Tarditi earned his B.S. from Lycoming College and his MBA from Drexel University.

 

South Jersey Technology Park at Rowan University Board of Directors

Lawrence DiVietro Jr., president and CEO of Land Dimensions Engineering in Glassboro, was appointed to a three-year term as a public member on the SJTP Board of Directors. The founder of Land Dimensions, DiVietro is very active in the community. Among his numerous commitments, he is director of Fulton Bank of New Jersey, a trustee of Inspira Health Organization, a trustee of New Jersey Future, and a member of the Southern New Jersey Development Council. A Licensed Professional Land Surveyor and Professional Planner, DiVietro is a former member of the Rowan University Board of Trustees.

 

Student Appointments to the South Jersey Technology Park at Rowan University Board of Directors

Thomas Christiani, of Hammonton, a doctoral engineering student at Rowan, was reappointed to the SJTP Board as a student representative for a one-year term. Christiani earned his B.S. and M.S. in chemical engineering at Rowan and has conducted research in biomechanics, biology and polymer engineering.

Hannah Hoag, of Turnersville, a graduate student in pharmaceutical sciences at Rowan, was appointed to the SJTP Board as a student representative for a one-year term. Hoag earned her B.S in biochemistry at Rowan with an honors concentration and was awarded a teaching fellowship for her graduate studies. She has conducted research in the synthesis of biologically active natural products and presented at the 2014 STEM Research Symposium at Rowan.
