Graduation took a bit of a miracle — and a lot of determination — for Ed Horn
Ed Horn has finished pretty much everything he started. He’s gotten married, served in the Coast Guard for four years, had kids and grandkids, held a job in the Public Works Department in Delanco Township for 35 years.

Nick Mueller taking his Rowan degree to American U and into anti-terrorism field
Nick Mueller has that look: 6’3”, imposing, solid, calm. The kind of guy who might be a State Police trooper or an Air Force colonel. The kind of guy who believes in service. The kind of guy who puts his hand over his heart when the Star-Spangled Banner plays.

From Moldova to Pitman, Rowan grad Tanya Harmer spans many worlds
Arriving in America, Tanya Harmer did not speak a word of English. But on May 13, the Pitman resident will graduate from Rowan University with a bachelor’s degree in English and elementary education, minor in music and certification in reading.

Engineering student Kelli Martino finds a Deere job waiting across country
When Kelli Martino graduates, she’ll have a lot to celebrate. The Rowan University senior mechanical engineering major from Dennisville is an accomplished student, a service leader and a former General Mills intern at the Vineland Progresso plant. She also has a job lined up after graduation – halfway across the country.

Despite loss, Lauren Thompson anticipates commencement and the future
Lauren Thompson, on the surface, seems a lot like the thousand or so other students preparing to graduate from Rowan University in May: young, smart, energetic, eager, dreaming of the future.

Love and support get young Rowan couple to commencement
Sam Dodge and Krystle Wright are both aspiring novelists, so they get fairytales, where the prince and the princess meet, fall in love and chase happily ever after.
