WHAT: will tape children’s stories for Rowan Radio Magic Hat Storytime

WHERE: in the studios of Rowan Radio, 89.7 WGLS-FM, Rowan University, Glassboro.

Sponsored by the Rowan University Educational Opportunity Fund/Minority Achievement Program, the College of Communication and the Students For Literacy Club, Magic Hat Storytime will offer a broad selection of multi-cultural tales, including African-American, Hispanic, Irish, Cajun, Korean and Chinese stories. The goal of the program, which will feature four stories a night along with children’s music, is to encourage reading among children and families. Rowan Radio Magic Hat Storytime will air on Sundays from June 4 through August 27, from 6 to 7 p.m.
