The first class of Rowan University's College of Engineering seniors will test the job market at the Rowan
Engineering Expo on Tues., Oct. 19. Continental breakfast and opening remarks are 8:30 - 9:30. Interviews
will be held from 9:30 - 4:30 at Rowan Hall

Rowan's first class of engineering seniors will take part in a specially created career expo designed to give
a select few companies access to our graduating seniors. More than 30 companies responded to our invitation
and will attend the exclusive event.

The Expo is particularly significant because Rowan engineering graduates are unproven. All that is certain
is that the skills and knowledge learned were done so in an Engineering program designed like few others, the
result of the $100 million gift that established the College of Engineering. The advantage should mean great
job prospects for our 85 graduating seniors.

The following are the companies who will be interviewing students at Rowan's Engineering Expo:

Athena Controls, Boeing, Bristol - Myers Squibb, Burns & Roe, Concord Engineering, Conectiv, Contico
Corp, CSC, Del. River & Bay Authority, FAA Tech Center, FP Developments, Inductotherm Corp., JCA
Associates, L-3 Communications, Land Dimensions, Life Sciences International, Lockheed Martin,
Metrologic, Naval Air Warfare Center, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Otis Elevator, Parsons Brikerhoff -
FG, Inc., Picatinny Arsenal, PSE&G, Sensors Unlimited, Sony, Telegenix, Tenneco Packaging, Theriault,
Wyeth-Ayerst.
