GLASSBORO-Amol Shah, a resident of Glassboro, has been selected as the most outstanding student member of the Philadelphia Section of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). He
GLASSBORO-Amol Shah, a resident of Glassboro, has been selected as the most outstanding student
member of the Philadelphia Section of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). He was
presented with the Alan L. Kirsch Award accompanied by a $500 honorarium at the Institute's Awards
Night Banquet on Sat., March 6 at the Bellevue Park Hyatt in Philadelphia. Shah was chosen for a number
of strong qualities including his leadership and dedication to the IEEE.

Shah, the founding member of the Rowan University IEEE student chapter, is currently ranked first in the
Electrical and Computer Engineering program at Rowan and has made the Dean's List every semester. His
competition for the award included students from University of Pennsylvania and Temple, Drexel and
Villanova Universities to win the outstanding student member award.
