165 employers on hand for Rowan University Spring Career Fair

A South Jersey university was all about bringing the jobs to their students on Wednesday.

On Wednesday, February 21st, professionally dressed Rowan University students made their way to Rowan's Rec Center for this year's Spring Career Fair.

Students and many graduates with resumes in hand had the opportunity to chat with over 165 employers to learn about various job opportunities and careers available to them.

University officials say each year the event is a sell out and added that they are happy to see their students taking the right steps to ensure their future success.

"Our goal is not only to prepare students, but connect their preparation to their next steps. Hopefully days like this help them do that," said Bob Bullard, director, Office of Career Advancement. "More importantly, we help them network and really meet the people who can help them do that."

The Career Fair exposed students to a variety of career opportunities in fields like health care, law enforcement, state and local government, sales and more.

There were also representatives from various universities discussing graduate programs for students who are looking to further their education.
