The College of Performing Arts Faculty Spotlight Series, in conjunction with the Music Department's Music of Social Justice series, presents violinist Timothy Schwarz and pianist Daniel Weiser in an evening of works by minority composers, highlighting the unique struggles different minority groups have encountered throughout history. Admission is free and open to the public.

Artist Sidney Mullis is the Department of Art's 2018 Artis in Residence. Legs Together is her welcoming exhibition and is in the gallery from January 16 to February 24. The nimble and playful exhibition explores the fluidity of gender, sexuality, and identity. An opening reception and artist talk are set for Thursday, February 8 from 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. The artist talk begins the evening in the gallery from 5:30-6:00 p.m.

Her work includes performance-based video, interactive objects and sculpture. Through her work she visually accentuates the plasticity of social constructs and the traditions surrounding them with humor and wit.
