The Department of Theatre & Dance opens its mainstage season with a new staging of Shakespeare’s classic coming-of-age tale, re-set in the early 1980s. Gothic and Goth meet as Hamlet and his friends explore mysticism through their fantasy role playing. In their minds, they enter the world of Elsinore as they look for meaning, purpose, and peace in their fast changing lives.

Under the direction of Timothy Schwarz, the Orchestra opens its season with guest artist and violin soloist Giora Schmidt along with 50 high school students to perform works by Beethoven, Mendelssohn, and Tchaikovsky. Tickets are $10 and $5. Rowan student tickets are free with valid ID.
