They conducted research in agent based systems, end-user programming, financial predictive modeling, big data analytics, bioinformatics, real-time computer supported cooperative work environments, multimodal reasoning systems, and human/machine learning.

The goal of the conference is to provide students with knowledge and understanding of the transition process.
