Hair: The American Tribal Love Rock Musical, the landmark theatrical celebration of the 1960s counterculture, concludes the Department of Theatre & Dance’s 2018-2019 mainstage season. With a book and lyrics by James Rado and Gerome Ragni and music by Galt MacDermot, Hair explores the experiences of a tribe of politically engaged hippies living a bohemian life in New York City as they struggle to balance their lives, loves, and the sexual revolution with their rebellion against the Vietnam War and the conservative society of their parents’ generation.

This production includes partial nudity, adult language, sexual situations, mature themes, strobe lighting, smoke effects, gun shot and explosion sound effects, and may not be suitable for all audiences.

Tickets:
$20 (general admission)
