Join the Rowan University Art Gallery & Museum and Ellen Harvey for the opening reception and artist talk for our new exhibition, The Disappointed Tourist, featuring 300 paintings of places lost as suggested by members of the public. Eight sites representing South Jersey are now included in the installation.
Ellen Harvey is a British-born conceptual artist whose work ranges from large-scale public artworks, immersive installations, to guerrilla street art. She has exhibited extensively in the U.S. and internationally, including in the 2008 Whitney Biennial, the Barnes Foundation (Philadelphia), the Center for Contemporary Art (Poland), the Groeninge Museum (Belgium), the Bass Museum (Miami Beach), the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art (Philadelphia) the Corcoran Gallery of Art (Washington DC), and the Whitney Museum at Altria (New York), among others.
