U.S. News & World Report ranks Rowan’s online programs among the best

U.S. News & World Report this week included Rowan University’s online offerings in its annual tally of Best Online Programs 2020.

Rowan, which offers a large selection of hybrid and fully online degrees from the baccalaureate to the doctorate, has an enrollment of roughly 19,600 students. Of them, 10,561 took one or more online or hybrid online/in person courses during the fall 2019 semester.

Among Rowan’s online programs, the magazine ranked its offerings as follows:

  • Bachelor's degree #325 out of 358 schools considered
  • Master of Business Administration #176 out of 340
  • Graduate business degrees (non-MBA) #168 out of 193
  • Master's degree in Criminal Justice #72 out of 88 (80 schools ranked)
  • Master’s degree in Education #224 out of 314
  • Master's degree in Engineering #86 out of 101

The magazine noted that its methodology for rankings weighted various factors including engagement, services and technologies, faculty and training, expert opinion and student excellence.
