A video produced by students from Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU) won first place in a national video challenge by the Association of American Medical Colleges.
Rick Hong, MD, FACEP, assistant professor of emergency medicine at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU) and head of the Division of Emergency Medical Services, Disaster Medicine and Transport Medicine at Cooper University Health Care, has been named president-elect of the National Disaster Life Support Education Consortium (NDLSEC).
Jeffrey Brenner, M.D., a member of the clinical faculty at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, has been named a MacArthur Fellow by the James D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation.  The prestigious five-year fellowship, popularly known as a “genius grant,” comes with a $625,000 unrestricted stipend.
This week, Cooper Medical School of Rowan University welcomed back its Charter Class along with group of new first year medical students in the Class of 2017.  
Imoh Ikpot, a medical student at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, recently received a national award from Conquer Cancer Foundation and American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) to further his interest in oncology research.
