Members of the Rowan University community are joining together to help feed families in Gloucester County this Thanksgiving.

Rowan University will celebrate the 56th Annual Veterans Day with a ceremony on Thursday, Nov. 11, beginning at 2 p.m. in the Eynon Ballroom of the Chamberlain Student Center, 201 Mullica Hill Road, Glassboro.

Rowan University's Circle K, a service leadership club, is sponsoring its first "Book Drive for Better Lives" to benefit children in war-affected regions of Africa.

Nearly 500 environmentally aware students plant bulbs and clean up around campus.

In what has become a time-honored Rowan University tradition, young children in the Glassboro community will celebrate Halloween in a fun and safe environment during the eighth annual "Haunted Student Center" on Friday, Oct. 29, from 4-6 p.m. in the Chamberlain Student Center, 201 Mullica Hill Road.

The Rowan University Rec Center is sponsoring a “Socks for Soldiers” program to benefit men and women serving overseas. The program will run through October 31.
