Summer Enrichment Program for preschoolers an on-campus resource for Rowan community.

The weather held out, the students were energized, the families were proud, and the speeches were interesting. Commencement 2009 at Rowan University came off beautifully. Rowan University's College of Education will host a graduate open house on Saturday, Sept. 27, from noon to 2 p.m. in Education Hall's second floor atrium.

The New York City-based education services company selected the school as one of 212 institutions it recommends in its "Best in the Northeast" section on its PrincetonReview.com feature 2009 Best Colleges Region by Region. It also profiles the school in its book "The Best Northeastern Colleges: 2009 Edition" (on sale August 5). In The Princeton Review's profile on Rowan, it describes the school as "dedicated to offering students a high quality education at an affordable price."

Rowan University will host 37 middle school teachers from throughout South Jersey for its summer Engineering Clinics for Teachers (ECT) institute Sunday, July 13, through Thursday, July 17.

Rowan University will launch its new Academy of Lifelong Learning (ALL), an initiative designed to provide learning experiences for adults, with an open house Wednesday, Oct. 10, at 1 p.m. at Hollybush Mansion on Whitney Avenue in Glassboro.
