Rowan University invites middle school-aged girls in sixth and seventh grades to Attracting Women into Engineering (AWE), a program designed to expose them to the broad field of engineering, on July 17, 18 and 19. The workshops will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. in Rowan Hall, the engineering building on Rowan’s Glassboro campus. Girls may participate in one of the three one-day sessions, selecting their preferred date when registering.
Ryan Ritchie, a junior social science/humanities major from West Deptford, took top honors — and a $5,000 prize — in the recent 6th Annual Rohrer Business Plan Competition at Rowan University.
