Common family traditions often include Sunday dinners and holiday gatherings, but for Jared and James Salvatore, 21-year-old twins from Hammonton, N.J., their family has unintentionally begun a new and unique tradition — attendance at Rowan University’s College of Engineering.

NBC10 and its affiliates will broadcast the second U.S. Senate candidate debate between Cory Booker and Steve Lonegan on Wednesday, Oct. 9, at Rowan University in Glassboro.

Dr. Xinhua Chen, of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at RowanSOM, has received a $1.8 million federal grant to lead a five-year study that examines the role diet plays in the higher incidence of preterm delivery among African American and Hispanic women.

The Rowan University chapter of American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) will host a DROPPED competition, during which students will build bridges on Friday, Sept. 27, from 5:30 to 9:45 p.m. in the Student Recreation Center’s Esby Pool.
