Robert O. Carr, who built Heartland Payments Systems into one of the largest debit and credit card transaction companies in America and has earned a reputation as a trailblazer for ethical reform in the payments industry, will speak at Rowan University on Monday, Nov. 17, at 11 a.m. in Room 107 of Bunce Hall.
A family of four aliens will be featured in a family show at the Edelman Planetarium at Rowan University, Rt. 322, Glassboro, New Jersey, on Sunday, Nov. 2, at 2 p.m. This is part of the planetarium’s monthly program to provide weekend planetarium offerings suitable for families with young children.
Students will be able to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry, mathematics or physics from The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering degree from Rowan University in five years under a new agreement.
The Rowan University chapter of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) will host other local chapters of ASME for its zombie-themed, fifth annual Pumpkin Chunkin’ contest on Friday, Oct. 31, with setup from 11:30 a.m. to noon and pumpkin launching at 1p.m. on the Rowan Hall Rowan Green at Rowan University.
