More than two dozen girls from throughout the region will converge each day at Rowan University for Attracting Women into Engineering (AWE) on Tuesday, July 26; Wednesday, July 27, and Thursday, July 28 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Rowan Hall (the College of Engineering building off Bowe Boulevard in Glassboro).

About two dozen middle school boys from throughout the region each day will learn to build bridges and bottle rockets and robotic arms, among many other opportunities, when they participate in Rowan University’s engineering education program Boys’ Engineering, Science & Technology (BEST) from Tuesday, July 19, through Thursday, July 21, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Rowan Hall, the College of Engineering building off Bowe Boulevard in Glassboro.

Rowan University has appointed Amy Barraclough as the director of the Fredric and Jean Edelman Planetarium in Science Hall. She replaces founding director Keith Johnson, who retired after 12 years at Rowan.
