From building bottle rockets to conducting science experiments to creating ceramics to presenting their own news casts, 16 youngsters with high functioning autism or Asperger’s syndrome will explore various academic fields—and enhance their social skills—during Rowan University’s fourth annual Young Profs Exploration Camp.

Assistant Professor Jonathan Olshefski is on a quest – and working with a man named Quest – to complete a documentary about a family whose home doubles as a hip-hop studio and whose lives intertwine with artists seeking to make it in the music business.

Nationally recognized educator Dr. Arthur Levine will give the address and prominent Philadelphia-area team physician Dr. Arthur R. Bartolozzi will receive an honorary degree during Rowan University’s main Graduate Commencement ceremony on Thursday, May 15, at 10 a.m. in Coach Richard Wackar Stadium.

To accommodate more than 20,000 graduates and guests expected on campus across two days of Commencement celebrations on May 15 and 16, Rowan University’s undergraduate and graduate ceremonies have been moved from the University Green to Coach Richard Wackar Stadium.
