If you're looking to start a career with the federal government or a non-profit agency, Rowan University's Savitz Hall is the place to be on Wednesday, Feb. 15.

Students seeking full-time jobs and internships and businesses seeking exceptional new talent should mark their calendars. The Rowan University Career and Graduate School Fair is almost here.

Specially trained students from the Rowan University Rohrer College of Business will help area residents and other students prepare their federal and state income tax returns through the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program again this year. VITA volunteers will prepare tax returns from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesdays and 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesdays through April 11 in Rowan's Campbell Library (Suite 136), located on Rt. 322 in Glassboro. Additionally, they will offer two Saturday sessions on Feb. 25 and March 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  No service will be offered during spring break, March 13 and 14.

As Senior Vice President, TD Bank Financial Group and Regional President for TD Bank's Metro Philadelphia Market, Michael Carbone '85 oversees all retail and commercial lending and government banking within the market.

The Rowan University Board of Trustees has appointed three area professionals and one student representative to the South Jersey Technology Park at Rowan University Board of Directors for three-year and one-year terms, respectively.

Rowan University’s Rohrer College of Business will host MBA information sessions at the Evesham Library, 984 Tuckerton Road, Marlton, on Monday, Dec. 12, at 6 p.m. and at the Cherry Hill Public Library, 1100 Kings Highway North, Cherry Hill, on Thursday, Dec. 15 at 6 p.m.

The education services company The Princeton Review features the William G. Rohrer College of Business at Rowan University in the 2012 edition of its book “The Best 294 Business Schools.”

There were, of course, speeches and professors in regalia, formalities and pageantry when Rowan University on Oct. 13 held the investiture of Dr. Steven Phelan as the William G. Rohrer Professorial Chair in the Rohrer College of Business.
