The Rowan Innovation Venture Fund now is accepting applications for funding from Rowan faculty, staff, students and alumni as well as from the South Jersey community at large.

The Rowan University Board of Trustees has approved two new board members for the South Jersey Technology Park (SJTP) in Mantua Township.

Rohrer College of Business Human Resource Management Professor William Camron Casper will deliver Rowan University’s Last Lecture on Tuesday, Dec. 2, at 7 p.m. in the Eynon Ballroom of the Chamberlain Student Center.
Titled “Knowledge is Power,” a new, $1 million bronze sculpture by world-renowned artist Zenos Frudakis will be unveiled during a ceremony on Friday, Nov. 21, at 1:30 p.m. outside James Hall, the home of Rowan’s College of Education.
Robert O. Carr, who built Heartland Payments Systems into one of the largest debit and credit card transaction companies in America and has earned a reputation as a trailblazer for ethical reform in the payments industry, will speak at Rowan University on Monday, Nov. 17, at 11 a.m. in Room 107 of Bunce Hall.
In what was the biggest, most ambitious Homecoming celebration in University history, Rowan alumni, students, faculty, staff and Glassboro community members came out in full force for PROFtoberfest 2014.
PROFtoberfest, Rowan's largest Homecoming celebration ever, resembled a giant family reunion as an estimated 3,000 people—alumni, students, faculty and staff—came together on campus. More than 1,600 alumni officially pre-registered for the whirlwind weekend.
Barefoot Cellars founders Michael Houlihan and Bonnie Harvey, who turned their startup winery in a California farmhouse into one of the most recognizable brands in the wine industry, will be the featured speakers during “Networking With Style,” a South Jersey Soiree, on Thursday, Nov. 13, at Auletto Caterers, 1849 Cooper St., Almonesson.

Part pep rally and part academic ceremony, the President’s Welcome and Picnic gave the more than 2,200 members of the Class of 2018 a warm welcome to Rowan University and its traditions.
