In what will be a frank discussion about the impact of race, class and privilege in American education, Rowan University will host a film screening of the critically acclaimed PBS documentary, “American Promise,” followed by a panel discussion with the filmmakers, on Monday, Oct. 24, at 5:30 p.m. in the Eynon Ballroom of the Chamberlain Student Center, 201 Mullica Hill Road, Glassboro.

Scholar and activist Rosa Clemente will present “Race, Gender and Nation in the Age of Black Lives Matter and Trumpism” in a talk at Rowan University on Tuesday, Oct. 18, at 7 p.m. in Boyd Recital Hall (Wilson Hall).
