Rowan University Political Science Professor Lawrence Markowitz is among three top national scholars selected to receive a grant from the U.S. Department of Defense’s Minerva Research Institute to study the connection of organized crime, terrorism and insurgency in Eurasia.

The Henry M. Rowan College of Engineering on May 21 entered into an engineering agreement with Rowan College of Gloucester County that will provide an alternate path for students seeking a four-year engineering degree.
In four sunshine-filled days across six ceremonies, degrees were conferred upon more than 3,200 members of the Class of 2015 during Rowan University’s first-ever Commencement Week, May 12-15.
In a passionate address to graduates of the College of Humanities & Social Sciences, 2006 alumna Ashley Abdullah implored the graduates to find their mission, be there for the people they love, and think of difficulties they face as building blocks to success. Also at the ceremony, Glassboro Mayor Leo McCabe received an honorary Doctor of Humanities Degree.
