The Rowan University Board of Trustees has elected attorney James J. Gruccio Sr., of Vineland, as chairman.

For the 12th consecutive year, U.S. News & World Report has ranked Rowan University among the best institutions of higher learning in the nation.

Approximately 1,400 freshmen are expected to move into eight residence halls and five apartments on Saturday, Sept. 3, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Rowan University, 201 Mullica Hill Road, Glassboro, N.J.  

The tremor felt on campus this afternoon, Tuesday, Aug. 23, was a shockwave from an earthquake in Virginia.

Rowan University students, faculty and staff members are working with local agencies and businesses to help give Camden schoolchildren a successful start to the new school year.

The Rowan University Board of Trustees has named Dr. Ali Houshmand interim president of the University effective July 1.

The single largest construction project in the City of Camden this year took a significant step forward on Monday, May 9, when the final girder for Cooper Medical School of Rowan University's (CMSRU) building was raised into place.

At Rowan University, Glassboro, 2,408 undergraduate students and 490 graduate students will take part in commencement ceremonies in May.

As part of the Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts (PIFA), the College of Fine and Performing Arts and Rowan Univeristy at Camden will present members of the music faculty in a series of performances entitled "College of Collage."

Throughout April, Rowan University will honor the Asian-Pacific culture with a variety of events that will reflect on the importance of their heritage.
