Rowan hosts Season of Light; Film celebrates holiday customs around the world

Rowan University’s Edelman Planetarium will host a holiday program in Science Hall on Saturdays at 7 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. from Nov. 30 to Dec. 15, 2013.

Season of Light is a traditional film that demonstrates various worldwide customs and celebrations throughout the winter season.  The film discusses Christmas trees, the origin of the Menorah, Santa Claus and the Star of Bethlehem.

Tickets are available a half an hour before the show starts. There are no reservations or advance sales for this show. Tickets are priced at $5 for adults and $3 for Rowan students, seniors and children. Season of Light is suitable for children ages six and older.
