“In what has been an incredible year for Rowan University – being named the state’s second public comprehensive research university and gaining a second medical school – the U.S. News & World Report rankings are still accolades of great value,” said Dr. Ali Houshmand, president. “While students and parents should consider more than just rankings in their college search, we are, as always, very pleased to be included among the top institutions in the North.”
Institutional rankings are based on measures of quality that include peer assessment, retention and graduation of students, faculty resources, student selectivity, financial resources, alumni giving and other categories.
