An information session for this summer’s Young Profs Exploration Camp, which is open to middle school students with Asperger Syndrome or high functioning autism, will be held Sunday, June 2, on Rowan’s campus.

The session runs from noon to 4 p.m. in Room 221 of the Chamberlain Student Center on Route 322.

It’s the third year the University is hosting the summer camp, which runs July 15-19 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. each day. Rowan students who work as coaches in the University’s Academic Success Center will again serve as counselors for Young Profs campers.  All counselors have experience working with people with special needs.

The camp will offer various summer activities and faculty from the colleges of Engineering, Education, and Performing Arts also will work with the campers.  Campers also will visit Rowan Television Network and Edelman Planetarium during their week at Rowan.
