Rowan to hold annual 2013 Career Fair
Students seeking full-time jobs and internships and businesses seeking exceptional new talent can connect at the Spring 2013 Career Fair at Rowan University on Tuesday, Feb. 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Eynon Ballroom of the Chamberlain Student Center on Rt. 322 on the Glassboro campus.
Each year, the Career Fair puts students from a variety of disciplines in contact with prospective employers to discuss career opportunities, including specific job openings and internships.
Students in the following fields can learn about opportunities within their disciplines:
- Engineering – Chemical, Civil and Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical and Computer
- Business – Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Finance, HR Management, Management, Marketing, MIS
- Science and Humanities – Computer Science, Biology/Biochemistry, Chemistry, Law/Justice, Mathematics, Physics, Political Science
- Communications – Advertising, Journalism, Marketing/PR, Publishing/Print Media, TV/Radio Broadcasting
The Career Fair is jointly sponsored by Rowan’s Career Management Center and by the Rohrer College of Business and the Colleges of Communication and Creative Arts, Engineering, and Science and Mathematics. Last year’s event had more than 80 companies and 500 students in attendance.
The event is free for students to attend. Although no pre-registration is required, students should dress in professional business attire and bring several copies of their resume.
Registration fees are $175 for corporate agencies and $75 for non-profit agencies. The fee includes one table and lunch for up to two representatives.
