SGA to 'Paint Rowan Red' during AIDS Walk

Rowan University's Student Government Association (SGA) will host "Paint Rowan Red," its third annual 5K AIDS Walk, on Sunday, March 27, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

"Each year, statistics increase as more people become infected with HIV/AIDS. Through our annual AIDS Walk, we will continue educating our community," said Abrina Hilson, assistant vice president of student of affairs for SGA.

SGA's goal is to raise $4,000. All funds raised during the event will go to the South Jersey AIDS Alliance of Atlantic City.

Admission to participate in "Paint the Town Red" is $8 per person (if in a team of six) or $10 for individuals. Participants can create teams of 15 people or more at an admission fee of $5 per person.
