Rowan hosts "The Night Sky"

The Department of Physics and Astronomy at Rowan University will open is observatory and observation deck to the public, providing visitors a chance to view celestial objects through a variety of telescopes on top of Science Hall, on Monday, December 1, beginning at 6 p.m.

The Department of Physics and Astronomy at Rowan University will open is observatory and observation deck to the public, providing visitors a chance to view celestial objects through a variety of telescopes on top of Science Hall, on Monday, December 1, beginning at 6 p.m. 

The department will give a short presentation on the current night sky in the Edelman Planetarium, located on the ground floor of Science Hall, which guests can watch before heading to the observatory, which will remain open until 10 p.m. 

The program is free. No food or beverages are permitted. 

Parking is available in Lot A on Rt. 322 and Lot B next to the athletic field.
