The Career and Academic Planning (CAP) Center; Rowan University Colleges of Business, Communication, Engineering and Liberal Arts & Sciences; and the Society for Human Resource Management Student Chapter of the College of Business are jointly sponsoring the campus-wide Rowan University Career Fair on Tuesday, February 26, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Recreation Center.

The career fair will provide an opportunity for businesses to discuss career opportunities, specific job openings and internships with Rowan students. Potential employers will be given the opportunity to set up a booth, distribute information about their company and network with students. Rowan University students will be invited to distribute resumes and discuss their future. More than 160 employers already have registered for the event.

The fair brings together employers and students from technical, business, communication and other fields. The event welcomes students seeking full-time careers, part-time jobs and internships in the areas of biology, chemistry, computer science, engineering (chemical, civil and environmental, electrical and computer, and mechanical), mathematics, physics, accounting, entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, management, management information systems, human resources, advertising and public relations, among others.

The Rowan University Career Fair has reached capacity and is no longer accepting registrations. Employers that would like to be added to a waiting list should any companies cancel are welcome to call Lori Getler at 856-256-4363. Mark your calendars for next year's Career Fair which will be held on February 24, 2009.

The Career Fair is for students seeking both jobs and internships and is free for students to attend. In this traditional fair format, companies set up booths throughout the Rec Center gym, and students distribute resumes and network with employers. Students can obtain more information on the Career Fair and Recruitment Week by logging onto their eCampus Recruiter account.
