Rowan University will launch its new Academy of Lifelong Learning (ALL), an initiative designed to provide learning experiences for adults, with an open house Wednesday, Oct. 10, at 1 p.m. at Hollybush Mansion on Whitney Avenue in Glassboro.

“The Academy’s goal is to provide exciting, relevant, and engaging learning experiences for adults,” says Dr. Razelle Frankl, chair of the ALL Advisory Board.

According to Frankl, ALL instructors are accomplished professionals who have distinguished themselves in their fields as teachers, researchers, writers, artists and practitioners.

Housed in Rowan’s College of Professional and Continuing Education, ALL is organized and operated by the Federation of Rowan College Education Retirees, alumnae of the University, and interested community members.

During the open house, prospective students will learn more about the ALL program. Additionally, they’ll take guided tours of the newly restored Hollybush Mansion and will view videos of archival footage from the history-making1967 Summit at Hollybush.

“We welcome new ideas for courses and individuals interested in teaching courses,” Frankl adds.

ALL courses are expected to begin in the spring.
