The 2008 presidential nomination will be the topic when Rowan University's political science department hosts a brown bag lunch discussion on Wednesday, Sept. 26, from 11 a.m.-12:15 p.m. in Room 101-A of Robinson Hall.

The discussion will be led by Professor R. Lawrence Butler and Professor Bruce Caswell.

Butler, chair of the political science department, is the author of "Claiming the Mantle: How Presidential Nominations Are Won and Lost Before the Votes are Cast" (2004). Caswell testified before the Democratic National Committee Commission on Presidential Nomination Timing and Scheduling in 2005.
