To celebrate Women's History Month, Dr. Sally Kitch, Professor of Women's Studies and Vice-Chair of the Women's Studies Department at Ohio State University (OSU), will present "Representation and Feminist Politics: An Afghan - American Connection" on Wednesday, March 29, from 10:50 a.m. to noon in Rowan University's Campbell Library, Room 226.

Kitch is a feminist theorist who is particularly interested in how women develop strategies to resist gendered expectations. She also is actively involved in the Afghan Women's Leadership Project at OSU, which seeks to enhance the strategies of Afghan women adapting to contemporary changes in society.
