Rowan University?s Drs. Gulser Meric, of Voorhees, and Larissa Kyj, of Wallingford, PA, of the Accounting and Finance Department, and Dr. Christopher Lacke, of Pitman, of the Mathematics Department, received an honorable mention award in the third volume of the Publications of New Jersey's Business Faculty, sponsored by The New Jersey Policy Research Organization Foundation, New Jersey Business Magazine, and the Stillman School of Business at Seton Hall University.

Their winning article, titled ?Determinants of Capital Structure, Dividend Policy, and Insider Ownership in Japanese Corporations,? was published in the spring 2003 issue of the Global Business and Finance Review. The article was one of two articles to receive an honorable mention among 110 journal articles published by New Jersey?s business faculty in 2003. The Rowan team co-authored the article with Dr. I. Meric, of Rider University.

They received their award in October at a ceremony in Newark.
