AMTNJ Elects Rowan Professor as New President

GLASSBORO - Rowan University associate professor of mathematics Dr. Eric Milou of Washington Township, has been elected president of the Association of Mathematics Teachers of NJ (AMTNJ).

GLASSBORO - Rowan University associate professor of mathematics Dr. Eric Milou of Washington Township, has been elected president of the Association of Mathematics Teachers of NJ (AMTNJ).

Milou, an AMTNJ member for 10 years, will serve as the president-elect for the rest of the current school year and then officially become the 91st president of AMTNJ for the 2004-05 school year.

AMTNJ is a volunteer organization made up of more than 3000 teachers across New Jersey. It
promotes learning and teaching of mathematics at all education levels. The activities of the association provide a medium for an exchange of views regarding the teaching of mathematics and influence curriculum and methods in school.
