Gloucester County Times city editor and columnist Jim Six will take his
point of view to the airwaves starting Tuesday, May 16, when he begins
a show on Rowan Radio, 89.7 WGLS-FM. The award-winning station at
Rowan University will air Six?s column Tuesdays through Fridays at 8:40
a.m.

Six, of Pitman, began his career at The Evening Bulletin and went on to
work elsewhere in both print and electronic media and in other fields. He
was news director of a small, suburban radio station; ran political
campaigns; was communications specialist for a consulting firm; was
president of a video company; directed a community outreach program;
wrote a music column for a Philadelphia newspaper; and spent more than
a decade as a full-time musician.

Six, who has won numerous awards for his work, has been writing a
feature column for the Times since 1985. His column appears in the
paper on Mondays and Tuesdays and also is available on the Internet and
is distributed to readers in four countries and 13 states.
