Funded by the State of New Jersey through the Gloucester County
Cultural & Heritage Commission, the Teens Arts Festival is open to
seventh to 12th grade students. This year, participants from the Clayton,
Clearview Regional, Deptford, Gateway Regional, Pitman, Washington
Township, West Deptford and Williamstown school districts will attend
workshops and/or compete in the areas of vocal and instrumental music,
dance, theater, visual arts, creative writing and video.

(Vocal, instrumental, dance and theater performances will be held in
Wilson Hall. Visual arts, creative writing and video critiques and
workshops will be held in the Westby and Bozorth buildings. The awards
ceremony will take place in Wilson.)

Rowan University faculty will present most workshops and offer most
critiques.

Winners will perform and exhibit art work at the State Teen Arts Festival
to be held in May at the College of New Jersey.
