Glassboro- Award-winning writer Nelly Toll, Rowan University alumnus
and professor and author of When Memory Speaks: The Holocaust in
Art, will present a lectur

Glassboro- Award-winning writer Nelly Toll, Rowan University alumnus
and professor and author of <+>When Memory Speaks: The Holocaust in
Art,<+> will present a lecture and slide show, <+>Mission in the Art of the
Holocaust,<+> in Rowan University Student Center Room 144 on Monday,
March 20, at 5 p.m.

The presentation is part of Rowan University's Multicultural Week 2000
and is sponsored by the Black Cultural League, Jewish Student Union,
Office of Multicultural/International Affairs, Multicultural Week Committee
and Student Development Program.

Toll and her mother were separated from family and forced into hiding
when the Nazis took over her native city of Lwow, formerly in Poland. She
has published her art work from and memories of that time.

Toll also is the author of <+>Without Surrender: Art of the Holocaust<+> and
<+>Behind the Secret Window.<+>
