Glassboro-The Joseph P. Miele Foundation announced Leslie Costello, of Sewell, and Kristi Baese, of
Salem, were recently awarded full scholarships to Rowan University's masters degree program in Applied
Psychology. In addition, each will receive a check for $2,000 for related expenses.

Costello graduated from Rowan University in 1993 with a bachelor's degree in Psychology. One professor
described her as <+>a natural life-long learner committed to making our world a more humane place for people
to live.<+> Currently, she works at the Community Mental Health Center for Gloucester County as an Employee
Specialist.

Baese works at Ranch Hope for Boys in Salem County as a Life Skills Coordinator in their Independent
Living Program. Her managers and professors characterized her as <+>professional and dedicated<+> and referred
to as <+>inspirational,<+> personal attributes that helped her win the Miele Scholarship.

The Miele Foundation gives scholarships to outstanding students from Seton Hall, Drew University,
Academy of the Sacred Heart, New Brunswick High School as well as Rowan University.
