In 1961, then Glassboro State Teachers College heralded the opening of Bosshart Hall, a state-of-the-art science building designed to train teachers.

On Tuesday, officials at what is now Rowan University marveled at how science education had changed as they dedicated the new $45 million Science Hall that includes a planetarium, rooftop observatory and about $5 million in high-tech scientific equipment.
