The Rowan University Department of Music presents acclaimed musicians and faculty members Douglas Mapp, Dean Witten, Dean Schneider and Denis DiBlasio in a special evening of music in Rowan's Edelman Planetarium. Admission is free and open to the public.

Will your team be the last battleship floating? Use teamwork, strategy, and buckets of water to sink the opposing team's canoe all while defending and protecting your canoe from the same fate. The event is limited to the first 24 teams that register. Rowan students, faculty or staff may sign up in teams of four. The competition will be divided into four matches. The remaining teams from those four matches will play in a championship match to claim the title of Battleship Champion. It is free for anyone to attend so come check out this third annual Homecoming event!

Award-winning, internationally-acclaimed American artist Mel Chin opens the 2014-2015 season at Rowan University Art Gallery with 'Disparate Acts,' an exhibition that showcases the artist's diverse work through many forms and directions. The exhibit runs September 2 - November 1, 2014. An artist's lecture will be held September 17 at 5:00 p.m. in Westby Hall Room 111, followed by a reception in the gallery until 7:30 p.m.

Join the Office of Student Activities in Rowan's week-long Homecoming Spirit Competition! Spirt competitions include Push Cart, Battleship, Lip Sync, Banner, and Float competitions. The overall spirit competition will consist of the amount of events your group participates in, use of Homecoming theme and school pride.
