The History Department is sponsoring a day of activities beginning with a presentation by Dr. William Carrigan who deliver a speech, 'To Liberate a Certain Species of Property: George Washington and Slavery.'
1:30 PM - 4:00 PM Dewey Lounge Rowan University Dr. Chanelle Rose will coordinate the screening and discussion of the film Lincoln. This event is also sponsored by the Phi Alpha Theta, Student History Association.
Rowan University Art Gallery presents artist Joyce Kozloff, a major figure in both the Pattern and Decoration and the Feminist art movements of the 1970s, in her first solo exhibition in New Jersey. Running from January 21 through March 15, the exhibition is welcomed with a gallery talk by the artist and reception on Wednesday, January 29 at 5 pm.
The Office of Admissions will offer a guided tour of campus.
Multiculural Monday's will feature a dinner selection prepared at the Rowan Marketplace 360 grill. The dinner hours are from 3:30pm-7:30pm. Dinner rates are fixed at $10 for the semester.
