Award-winning, internationally-acclaimed American artist Mel Chin opens the 2014-2015 season at Rowan University Art Gallery with 'Disparate Acts,' an exhibition that showcases the artist's diverse work through many forms and directions. The exhibit runs September 2 - November 1, 2014. An artist's lecture will be held September 17 at 5:00 p.m. in Westby Hall Room 111, followed by a reception in the gallery until 7:30 p.m.

All moved in but tired of looking at blank walls? Keep Calm and Shop On! Come out to the Back Patio and sort through hundreds of posters, frames, and decorative pieces for your dorm or apartment. In case of inclement weather, the event will be held in the Pit.

Join us in the Student Center Ballroom to watch Godzilla on a large projected screen. The event is free and includes popcorn and a soda! There is a raffle for movie posters and best seat in the house as well.

Come support Rowan Football at their opening game against Widener. Get there early because the first 1,000 fans get free fried oreos! Make sure you stick around for the amazing fireworks show after the game. This event is free, along with a Philly Shuttle leaving from the Student Center Half Circle at 7pm.

Want to check out what South Jersey has to offer? Vendors from Glassboro and the surrounding areas will be on campus to show what their businesses have to offer. Check out local shops, restaurants, banks, and local businesses without having to leave campus. Vendors may provide information, samples, giveaways, or promotional items to students, faculty, and staff. In case of inclement weather, the event will be held inside the Student Center. This event is free.
