The Rowan Opera Company, under the direction of Jon Garrison, presents 'Passion and Pathos, Tears and Laughter' featuring seelctions from Carmen, Faust, Teh Elixir of Love, Suor Angelica and more. The Department of Theatre & Dance presents the musical version of the Stephen King novel and subsequent movie about awkward high school misfit Carrie White and her struggles with a cruelly over-protective mother and her status as an outcast bullied by classmates. Here, the discovery of her telekinetic abilities and the power she can unleash when pushed too far is musicalized in dramatic fashion.
