Kick-off Color Me Rowan Weekend at Rowan's first ever student DJ competition! The winner will show off their skills at #RoGlow2014. Sign-ups are open until 9/14 at www.rowan.edu/studentactivities. This event is free.
Award-winning, internationally-acclaimed American artist Mel Chin opens the 2014-2015 season at Rowan University Art Gallery with 'Disparate Acts,' an exhibition that showcases the artist's diverse work through many forms and directions. The exhibit runs September 2 - November 1, 2014. An artist's lecture will be held September 17 at 5:00 p.m. in Westby Hall Room 111, followed by a reception in the gallery until 7:30 p.m.
This non-competitive run around campus is about two miles long with 6 paint zones where students will get sprayed with different colored powder paints. Make sure to wear all white or a wacky bright outfit and enter into the costume contest! All proceeds will benefit Back on My Feet, a charity that creates self-sufficiency within Philadelphia's homeless community. Tickets go on sale on September 2nd, 2014 at 9am at the Student Center Info Desk.
