Gallery Reception: 'Heads and Tales'
Event occurred on:April 16, 2014 - 5:00pm to April 16, 2014 - 7:00pm
Rowan University Art Gallery hosts a reception and gallery talk for 'Heads and Tales,' which showcases selected studio work by Philadelphia-born, New Jersey-based artist Tom Nussbaum. The exhibit features a variety of mediums in which Nussbaum locates common attributes that embody a narrative framework, and which developed out of his life-long interest in building things that express his view of the world. He uses form and color and connections that can be found in the patterns and construction of fabrics and textiles from around the world, whether the micro and macro forms found in nature or man-made patterns such as interconnecting circuits and the world-wide web. The exhibit runs March 31 - May 10, 2014. Admission is free and open to the public.
