Rowan University's 2017 artist-in-residence, Jay Walker, explores the iconic clothed figure and how we see archetypes as manifestations of ourselves with this, the latest exhibit in Rowan University Art Gallery at High Street. The Philadelphia-based artist utilizes colored tape and wood stencils to create bodiless clothed forms that have been 'emptied' - both literally and figuratively - as a gesture of transcendence and transformation.

The gallery is located at 301 High Street. Admission to the gallery and reception is free and open to the public. Support for programming at Rowan University Art Galleries has been made possible in part by funds from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.
